In 2017 we celebrate the 140-year anniversary since Captain Helly Juell Hansen manufactured the first waterproof garments in 1877, founding Helly Hansen. Built on this heritage and our experience through 140 years, we continue to develop professional grade gear, with new innovations and explorations on the horizon in 2017.
